F1 Mark Webber Auctions Helmet for Charity

Red Bull Racing’s Mark Webber has charitably donated his 2012 Grand Prix helmet tattered in Japan, India and Brazil, to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society! Helmets are amongst the most luxurious racing and Formula 1 memorabilia, and symbolize the summit of the race collecting relaxation.

They are one of the most significant safety strategies in Formula One racing. This unique helmet was damaged by Mark at in the 2012 Japanese, Brazil and India Grand Prix’s. Mark Webber completed his Formula One introduction in 2002.

His first F1 win was with Red Bull contest at the 2009 German Grand Prix which chase second places at the 2009 Chinese, Turkish and British Grand Prix. By the end of 2009, Webber had achieved eight platforms, including another triumph in Brazil.

His eight platforms in 2009 compare to only two podiums in the first seven years of his career, and he additional ten more platform in 2010. Webber completed the 2010 season in third place, behind out to colleague Sebastian Vettel in the final race of the period.

Webber added an additional race triumph in the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix, as he once again completed third behind champ Vettel and runner-up Jenson Button. Webber attached Vettel again in the 2012 season, outperforming him in the untimely period and looked to be a main title contender, lastly concluding the season in 6th place.
