Australian Webber won remarkably in Monaco and Britain last period but otherwise move violently for constancy as he finished a distant sixth in the Formula One drivers' championship. Vettel settle a third directly title in thrilling fashion at the final race in Brazil in November, having won five grand prix over the course of the crusade.
Although Red Bull insists both men have equal status and are free to race each other, Marko said Webber was conscious of where he stood caption into the new season. "Mark recognizes what we anticipate of him," Marko said German newspaper Sport Bild.
"For four years, Vettel and Webber have driven together in our team. Sebastian was runner-up once and winner three times. "The guide talks for itself. There is no reason to believe the equilibrium of power will change."
Webber signed a new one-year agreement with Red Bull after his conquest at Silverstone in July. The 36-year-old said verdict the right time to retire would be critical, but he is yet to choose when he will call it suspend.
"I haven't been there yet but it is leaving to be a very difficult instant, no query about it," Webber told GP International publication. "I assume it's just about receiving the timing right - not pulling the plug too early, meaningful you have more to give of manually, or going too long and not being rapid enough or stressed to do the things you used to be capable to do.
