Red Bull Racing and Sebastian Vettel nominated to 2013 Laureus World Sports Awards

Red Bull Racing and their driver, Sebastian Vettel have been integrated in the proposal for the 2013 Laureus World Sports Awards. Previous Formula 1 driver, Emerson Fittipaldi and Edwin Moses who is the chairman of Laureus World sports education Academy, have lately exposed the suggestion for the awards which will be held on March 31, 2013. 

Red Bull Racing has been designated for the Laureus World Team of the Year after maintains their third consecutive world constructors’ championship title in the 2012 F1 season. Moreover, they are planned beside the US Miami Heat Basketball team, Spain’s Men’s Football players, the European Ryder Cup Team, China’s Olympic Table Tennis players and the United States’ Men’s Basketball Team. 

On the other hand, the experienced person German driver who has won his third succeeding world drivers’ challenge title in this season has been nominated against Usain Bolt, Mo Farah, Lionel Messi, Michael Phelps and Bradley Wiggins. 

It will be significant to mention that previous Williams and Lotus F1 driver Alex Zanardi, who won two gold medals and one silver medal in the London Paralympics Games, has also been designated in Laureus World Sportsperson of the Year in the grouping of immobilized. 

“I always feel in an Olympic year that you are likely to see a strapping group of possible Nominees and this year is positively an immense instance of that,” said Laureus World Sports Academy chairman Edwin Moses.
